Terms and Conditions for Labyrinth Norwich Limited.

  • BOOKING PROCESS

1.      Bookings are taken securely online through our website. You may enquire in person, by telephone on 01603 666745 or by email on book@labyrinthnorwich.co.uk

2.      Our booking system is set to take deposits for certain events and full payments for others. This payment prevents others from booking this activity on a specific time on a specific date and is therefore non-refundable at the point the amount is paid and the booking is confirmed. Your booking is valid once you receive your confirmation email. Should you have not received this within 2 hrs of booking please contact us via the methods in point 1.

3.      We accept cards or cash. We do not accept cheques.

  • NUMBER OF PARTICIPANTS

If you would like to increase your numbers please email us at your earliest opportunity. Our max capacity for each booking type varies and will include booked participants and any accompanying adults, children or babies. For private hire parties, all guests must not exceed 50. For regular parties it's 20. For laser tag or play cafe, please email if you would like to bring unbooked guests.

  • AGE RESTRICTIONS

Our open laser tag sessions are for family groups. We run evening private hire for teens and adults. During laser sessions, SEN sessions or toddler laser sessions, we recommend parental supervision for children under 6 years old.

All players must be physically capable to hold the laser tag phasor with two hands, understand the game concept and adhere to the safety rules of no running, climbing or physical contact.

  • rescheduling/cancellations

If you decide to cancel your booking you must notify us in writing.

Due to unavoidable staff and stock costs, rescheduling or cancelling your event may incur charges: 7 days before the event costs £50, up to 2 weeks before the event is £25. Over 2 weeks is only 5% processing fee. The remainder of your deposit will be refunded, or transferred to your new booking or a gift voucher for future use.

We do not refund or transfer sessions for non attendance on the day or due to illness, including for individual "no-shows" in your party.

The arrangements for Labyrinth are put together in good faith in advance and we must therefore reserve the right to make alterations to and correct any errors to the event details before and after your booking has been confirmed. Most of these changes will be minor and we will advise you of them at the earliest possible date. We also reserve the right in any circumstances to cancel your booking.

  • ARRIVING LATE

We are not obliged to admit late comers. The time stated on your confirmation is the ‘start time’ and while we will do our best to get you to your table or into your session as quickly as we can, this cannot be guaranteed if your arrival time and our commitment to other bookings prevents us from being able to. The booking will normally be treated as a cancellation in the event of late arrival with no refund due.

  • EXCLUSION FROM VENUE

The venue has the right, at all times, to refuse participants access to the booked activity at any stage of the booking and remove them from their venue if in their opinion the participants are under or over the permitted age; are unfit to take part in the activity because of physical or mental impairment; be under the influence of alcohol or drugs; have arrived too late to take part in the pre-activity briefing; consider them to be a danger to themselves, other participants or members of staff; or are displaying aggressive and abusive behaviour (verbal or physical). If any of these occurrences apply, the booking will have been deemed to have been cancelled and full cancellation charges will apply.

Should any participant damage the property of the venue, or verbally or physically injure a member of the staff or other participants, they will be dealt with by the venue management accordingly and may face prosecution by the venue. Labyrinth will not become involved in such matters other than to supply the necessary authorities with contact details of the offending party / parties. Any communications relating to such matters should be conducted between the venue, the offending party / parties and the authorities.

  • PERSONAL SAFETY

Players take part at their own risk.  Whilst all our activities are as safe as they can be, safety instructions must be followed at all times as well as any instructions from the marshals on the day. You are advised not to engage in risky or daring behaviour. All physical activities by definition involve an element of risk so it is a given that you undertake the activity with the full understanding of this and accept responsibility for your own safety and the risks involved in taking part. Labyrinth arena rules must be abided by. These include: no running; no climbing on walls or scenery, no physical contact, no laying, sitting or rolling on the floor and no foul language. All players will receive a safety briefing before their first game. Failure to comply may result in removal from the arena and no refund given.

  • ASTHMA AND MEDICATIONS

It is a term and condition that all participants must have the correct medications on them at all times to be able to treat them for ALL medical conditions they have. If laser tag players have a medical condition, we advise they consult with their GP before playing.

  • OTHER CONDITIONS

Except as otherwise provided in these Booking terms and conditions, Labyrinth shall not be responsible for the loss, or damage of or to any property or to any person arising from the booking of or participation in the activities we provide.
