Staying COVID-19 Secure in 2020
At Labyrinth we've made a lot of changes so that we can operate safely during the coronavirus pandemic. These include changes to the cafe layout, limiting numbers for the cafe and laser tag, restructuring our parties to reduce contact between groups, adding an air cooling and filtration system, extra ventilation and table service.
We don't want to bombard you with the steps we've taken to be covid secure (our operational guide is 12 pages plus!) so below is a summary of key information so you know what to expect when you come to Labyrinth. Please get in touch if you have questions or concerns not covered by the below.
The play cafe is open as usual but capacity is limited. Please book your table online or make a reservation on 01603666745. Labyrinth is table service. The toddler play area and movie shed is open with regular cleans. However the kitchen and food toys have been removed.
Please come to Labyrinth in your masks - these are required for all aged 11 and over and are necessary within the Rose Lane car park. They can be removed once seated at Labyrinth's cafe tables to eat and drink. If you're supervising your child in the play corner or movie shed, please wear your mask.
Please sanitise your hands upon entry to Labyrinth. There are several other sanitation stations around the venue; on the threshold to the play corner and besides the cafe counter.
We will come to you for drinks and food orders. You'll be shown to your table upon entry and some details taken for track and trace.
Queue markers show where to wait for the toilets.
The play area touch and touch points are sanitised at least hourly and cafe numbers limited and monitored to ensure safe levels.
Masks are required for all aged 11 and over. We welcome younger participants to wear masks if they feel comfortable doing so.
Open laser sessions are strictly limited to a maximum of 15 people. The scoreboard is now located downstairs in an open space. Every online booking is also allocated a cafe table to help us control overall occupancy in the building.
Phasors are sanitised after every use or booked session providing the players keep hold of their phasors throughout. Players are required to sanitise their hands before playing.
Instructions on social distancing are given at every session to ensure safe entrance to the arena, safe behaviour during the game, and safe exit and return to the cafe for scores.
Laser parties are 90 minutes long, with up to an hour of laser tag exclusively for the birthday group. There is only one party running at any one time, so although you might see the last party on your way in, or see the next party in the waiting area as yours ends, for the majority of your time at Labyrinth you'll have the space to yourselves.
